Mepolizumab

2. Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (EGPA): Mepolizumab is also approved for the treatment of EGPA, a rare autoimmune condition characterized by inflammation of blood vessels (vasculitis) and an increased number of eosinophils in the blood and tissues. 

3. Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps: In some regions, mepolizumab may be used to treat chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps in adult patients who have an eosinophilic phenotype. It's important to note that mepolizumab is specifically indicated for conditions with a significant eosinophilic component. 2. Acute Asthma Exacerbation: Mepolizumab is not intended to treat acute asthma exacerbations or bronchospasm. It is used as a maintenance therapy for severe eosinophilic asthma, and its use during an acute asthma attack is not appropriate.
